Hiking and Picnic Area

B’sorah is situated near the Magaliesberg Mountains, and thus offers some of the best landscape for hikers and birdwatchers. We have trails for hiking and trail-running, and hikers are also free to go off the beaten track and explore rocky outcrops, valleys and streams, and enjoy some of the best views over the Hartbeespoort area. B’sorah is also home to a large variety of birdlife which should keep avid birdwatchers happy for hours. We also have a picnic area with braai facilities for hiking groups.

B’sorah is open to hiking groups and clubs from Sundays to Fridays.

For more info on hiking/trail running at B’sorah, send us an e-mail at info@bsorah.com

The Verandah Café

We serve a traditional farm breakfast at our coffee shop on the main farmhouse’s colonial-style veranda. Book breakfast with your stay at our tented camp, or book a hike and come for coffee and cake afterwards – The choice is yours. The Verandah Café is open Sundays to Fridays, but bookings are essential.

To make a booking, send us an e-mail at info@bsorah.com

Gift Shop

Come and visit our small gift shop at B’sorah and take something unique back home with you. Need some snacks for the road? This is the shop to get it.

Beit Avinu Biblical Centre

B’sorah is also home to Beit Avinu Biblical Centre. Here we work closely with non-profit organizations, church groups and ministries to make a lasting difference to our younger generation in need, and it is also available for Christian and Biblical meetings and retreats. The centre is also available for use during midweeks for business retreats, conferences or team-building breakaways.

Beit Avinu consists of a large hall with beautiful fireplaces, an equipped kitchen, neat bathrooms, as well as a picnic area, camping grounds and farm-style showers for youth or Christian camps. The centre is also surrounded by a beautiful garden with a historical stone “kraal” and a century-old flowing canal which adds to the peaceful atmosphere under the rustling trees of Beit Avinu.

Quiet, secluded get away

There are four luxury tented camps in one area and the "honeymoon" camp is separate. You do not see the other tents so you have a feeling of privacy, while overlooking the stream and the bush. Great spot for walking and birding. Riverine, plains and scrub to walk in. Did see some game but not a lot. Recommended for a quiet, get away from it all, break. The tents and deck are very nice.

Wonderful...Just wonderful!!!

We spent two nights...Two wonderful nights. The place is so quiet and secluded. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly and shown to our tent. The tent, kitchen, bathroom, everything was wonderful. The beds are clean and big. I felt so rested after one night. Will definitely go back there...Must see little gem!!

Amazing Weekend Away at B'sorah

My partner and I arrived on a rainy Friday evening and left on a sunny Sunday afternoon. Our stay can only be described as relaxing, beautiful and a much needed breath of fresh air. The tents were clean and well equip with all the basics.

Best kept secret

You do not have to drive a 1000 or more kilometers to escape the city - it is literally on your doorstep. We enjoyed the quiet life for two entire days and felt well rested and recharged. The tent was private, well equipped and cosy.

Tranquility

My first luxury tent getaway experience, it was enjoyable. Highly recommended if you want to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city, recharge and enjoy nature without driving far from Pretoria or Jo'burg.
